Morning all. It’s our eldest daughter’s birthday today and I can’t believe we’re old enough to have a 38 year old daughter! Perhaps we were just teenage parents? We’re taking her and her husband for lunch in a local Italian restaurant, as they’re not working today.

Holly @minimakes the Market of Kindness is a facebook based market, it’s held every couple of months and is in aid of the charity Kindness Community. Well it looks like the local men have realised Christmas is coming a bit earlier this year, 1 popped over yesterday for a ring and another is popping over this afternoon for a bangle. They normally leave it very last minute.

Morning all, gloriously sunny and bright here this morning, hoping to get some photos done/redone.
The Kindness Market was ok-ish for me, I had some sales linked through it but not huge numbers (I had more through this group 
). Personally I find social media difficult, and you need to work at it for FB markets. We all supported each other brilliantly - huge thanks to everyone who liked and commented on my posts - but again I didn’t get engagement from the wider community (poor reach or silent lurkers - I don’t know). Although I love supporting such a great charity, I don’t think I’ll do it again - Ill just make a donation or buy some of Laura’s merch.
Listing today is the last of the sewing/fashion themed zipped pouches - this one is my favourite, I think I’ll be making something for me with the fabric I have left - unfortunately not enough for a 
Hi all. Was hoping to rejoin the thread this month but unfortunately my back pain has developed into sciatica and I have been in severe pain with very little sleep for a week, couldn’t sit or lie down and could only get a bit of relief by walking so have been pacing the house pretty much constantly. Managed to get some stronger pain killers yesterday but still suffering a bit and cant really concentrate on anything at the moment. Hopefully things will improve but until they do I think I am going to keep my shop in holiday mode and just forget about it for now - one less thing to think about. I hope you all have a good run up to Christmas with plenty of sales.

you sound just like me Max. Having struggled with it for about two weeks I had to go to the docs yesterday as I’m asthmatic and it felt like it was in my chest! Antibiotics only thank goodness so hopefully will be feeling better soon

I feel for you, sciatica is excruciating.
I hope the stronger meds help. I ended up on a cocktail of diclofenac, amitriptyline, diazepam and codeine which finally sorted mine out, I live in fear of it ever returning.
