September Daily Listing & Promotion Challenge Thread

Welcome to the September 2025 Daily Listing and Promotion Challenge Thread :grin:

The challenge is that you will list and post your item to this thread, then visit all the other participating shops via their daily link AND :heart: that listing in their shop.

It does take a little time each day but it is well worth it because everyone who joins gets the benefit and the group is a lovely supportive place to be.

HOW TO TAKE PART (AND THE RULES)

Post your item for the day to the Challenge thread by copying and pasting the item URL from your Folksy Shop (donā€™t worry if you are not sure when you start just ask and someone will help). You can post a newly listed item or something already in your shop it does not matter.

On the Challenge thread click on the links for everyoneā€™s posted item, this will take you to the item in their shop, and hit the items :heart: - this gives the listing a brief appearance on the Folksy front page under ā€˜Popular Right Nowā€™ (this is the main rule for taking part in the Challenge)

The idea is we all do the same for everyone on the thread which gives us all an extra boost, along with virtual hugs and support from everyone in this lovely community.

If you have time you can also promote fellow listers outside of Folksy by pinning on Pinterest, making a Folksy Friday Board, posting on Facebook or Instagram etc.

Donā€™t forget you can also help by liking/commenting on other peoples group promotions on social media if you canā€™t post your own.

If you have a Folksy sale while taking part in the Challenge thread post a message on the thread and tag me @GlintBeads so we can all celebrate and have a happy dance with you. :woman_dancing:

I will keep a tally of sales during the month and will regularly post about these.

Hello everyone,

Hope youā€™re all well and your sales have been great in August. Iā€™m really sorry but I have decided to take a little break from the challenge in September due to ill health and needing to focus my energy elsewhere. I will definitely be back once things settle down. Wish you all great September sales :money_bag:.

Morning everyone, and happy September! Itā€™s been so long since I joined in that I completely forgot about it first thing. Iā€™ve got loads of new things still to upload, hereā€™s the first of them. Cord necklaces and bracelets have been my best sellers on the bike, so Iā€™d better get a few of them online too!

Good morning everyone. Iā€™m back but still not fully recovered. My neck and the back of my head are still quite painful to the touch. It seems to be taking longer to recover this time than it did the last couple of times it happened.

I have had a bit of a nightmare trying to edit some photos. The editor that I used to use is no longer available on a chromebook so Iā€™ve been trying Canva. I know some of you use it so can you tell me if you can upload all of the photos that you need to edit or do you have to do them one at a time? Also when you download them can you save them to the folder that you want them to go to and name them? Itā€™s taken me from 7:30 to 9:00 to edit and save 7 photos, I must be doing something wrong.

Sorry youā€™re still in pain, Pauline @OswestryJewels - hope you recover soon. Sorry I canā€™t help you with Canva as I only use it to make pics with multple photos and text.

Sounds like the market for kindness went well for all or most of you who took part. I didnā€™t have many sales, I must admit, but maybe wouldnā€™t have had any if I didnā€™t do it! Finished the market with a Ā£20 order yesterday, which was nice!

OMG - Mel @aquilacrafts and Liz @PatchworkPackages - I blame you for the thing Iā€™ve just done! I did a totally spontaneous first LIVE on Instagram! I was just going to make a reel showing my packaging and then suddenly I decided to do a live (No make up on or anything!) I didnā€™t even know how to turn the camera around! I gave a shot of my messy back garden too - the shame! I hadnā€™t prepared any chat either, so it is VERY boring but I think I had about 6 people watching :rofl:
