Changing main image in listing

Hello everyone, I need some advice please. How do you swap the main image in your listing for a newer one, without having to delete all photos then input them again? There’s probably a simple answer, but I don’t know it:mag_right::slightly_smiling_face:

Sorry to say but the only way is to delete them all and start again

Go to the listing and edit. Add a photo, then hover with your mouse or finger and select make main image.

If you go into edit on the listing you can change the order of the images by dragging them and dropping them where you want them to move to. The one you drop onto will then swap places with the one you moved. So you can add your new photo and then drag it to be the first (main) image.
Hope that makes sense :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t think you can move them on an iPhone. I’ve never been able to.

Used to use my laptop. Now it’s generally my android tablet (I appreciate I probably can’t do it on that) but I’ve never been able to on my laptop either.

Just checked no cannot do with an iPad or iPhone. You can do it in the app though. Hover on the photo and a menu e comes up: make primary image or delete.

Oh, thank you for that. I don’t use the app but might download it just for that :joy:

I’ve always dragged mine around wherever I want to put them so changing the first or any really is easy. I just upload a new picture, delete the one I am replacing and move the new one to the front. I am on my laptop using Chrome.

Just tried on my android phone which I’ve never done before and sure enough there is no way to drag them…Learn something new every day !!

Me either, I didn’t even know you could.

Thank you all for replying to this question😁 I can see my problem has been using the iPad for this, but I will get the app and see how I go, or it’s back to deleting the photos!
