This is the first Christmas I will have my shop, as it nears Christmas and goes past the posting dates do people let customers know it won’t make it for Christmas or put the dates on your shop ?

I put mine in the header of my shop and, if I remember, in the listing info. (This year sales are so slow I’ve not bothered, although I’m publicising on my newsletter and social media.)

I haven’t been able to find any international last posting dates for Royal Mail this year. I wonder if they have stopped that?

I usually shut before the last posting date anyway to avoid the stress of last-minuters and the constant ‘where’s my parcel’ messages! And after about Dec 10 if it’s obviously a Xmas pressie I’ll message people and suggest a postage upgrade to Special Delivery if they absolutely MUST have it by Xmas Eve. Definitely put the info in your shop announcement, and for bestsellers and seasonal items it might even be worth adding to item descriptions although of course you do then have to go back and re-edit the ones that haven’t sold. Or you can add a photo with the dates on it.
