Hi everyone - I’m planning to run a regular spot on my FB page asking designer-makers, crafters and artists to list their shop link in the run up to Christmas. Basically to encourage people to buy from small independents, rather than the boring high street and big online shops where everyone else goes! If you’d like to join in I’d love to see you there - I’m looking for anyone who sells items that would make good Christmas gifts (doesn’t have to be Christmas themed, just gifts in general) or decorations.
You can see the post pinned to the top of my page - I’ll leave it there over the weekend and then unpin it, but I hope to run it again a few times, so you might want to give my page a follow so that you can see when it happens again (you’re welcome to tag your business each time, no problem). This is my page: https://www.facebook.com/photofairytales/
Look forward to seeing you on there!

Hello Norma
Your fairies are really sweet. But it might be sensible to take some advice on whether just stating ‘these are not toys’ is enough to cover you if a child did pick one up and injure themselves on the wire, or pull off the hair and eat it … I beieve that if something looks like a toy, even if not intended as such, it still needs to be CE marked. There are lots of people here who have looked into it properly and can point you to some helpful sources of information.

If I knew how to I would love to tag your facebook, as any advertising is good.
Hi Andy - if you ever want to tag your own Facebook page on Facebook, just put the ‘@’ sign in front of your shop name and that will turn it into a link so that others can click on it to be taken to your page. So for example, my own FB page is PhotoFairytales - so to tag that page in a comment I would type @PhotoFairytales (no space between the @ and the shop name).
Alternatively, you can just copy and paste a whole link to your shop/page/website, etc - eg my website would be “https://www.photofairytales.co.uk/” or my Folksy shop would be “https://folksy.com/shops/PhotoFairytales” - doing that would also make a clickable link for others to follow.
I haven’t got the sharing post pinned on my page anymore at the moment, but I’m sure I’ll be doing it again in the future so you’d be very welcome to join in!
Hope that helps
