Sharon @TheOldButton That quote sounds ridiculous! Last year, we had a very large, mature hedge removed and replaced with a fence. They had to get a mini digger to get the hedge out. At the same time we had part of a block wall rebuilt. That all cost around £2,000, which included £200 for hire of the digger.
