Haha, I liked and Pinterest-pinned Clive last night! He caught my eye
Afternoon all,
Thank you Mel @aquilacrafts for playing ‘mum’ in November, and Sue @SueTrevor for taking over in December.
Can’t believe how quickly this year has gone
Welcome back Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery, Sharon @OhhhWhatAYarn and Carol @Knittingtopia - I have missed all your wonderful creations.
Welcome to the Daily Challenge, Steve @linthamdesigns
So glad to hear your Dad is recovering, Susan @SusanBettyArt
Hello,
Just catching up on our way home from weekend in London. My goodness it was busy but we had a lovely time.
Welcome back Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery Sharon @OhhhWhatAYarn and Carol @Knittingtopia and nice to see you here Steve @linthamdesigns
Please to hear your dad is doing well Susan @SusanBettyArt
Just a relist from me today but the white rabbits seemed appropriate on the 1st of the month
I had to google the rabbit thing, I’ve never heard of it before! (one of the google questions that came up was ‘do rabbits have a time of the month’ - made me giggle! )
We used to say ‘white rabbits’ 3 times on the 1st of the month before speaking to anyone for luck. When I was a child I used to get annoyed because I’d wake up and forget so mum made me a paper rabbit and hung it from my bedroom ceiling so I’d remember.
Afternoon everyone. I’ve to here. For today’s listing I have this lovely copper and fused glass Dad coaster.
Thanks for looking after us last month, Mel @aquilacrafts and this month, Sue @SueTrevor
Welcome, Steve @linthamdesigns
Pleased to see that you’re on the naughty step already, Brenda @teabreaks
I’m so pleased that your Dad is on the mend, Sue @SusanBettyArt love the pops of red in your painting.
Another rainy day from me…
I have one of those Sue, a useless brother who still lives with our dad.
When we lost mum nearly 4 years ago I had to support dad through it, dealing with coroner, getting death certs etc.
I visited dad 6 days a week for 2 years until he got ‘settled’ again. He is fully capable of looking after himself but when you suddenly loose your wife of 51 years, you need a bit of support and my older brother was as much use as a chocolate teapot.
Sorry, forgot to say earlier, thank you Sue @SueTrevor for looking after us in December x
Thanks for sharing this Carol. I often ask why are some of my family members wired up differently. Thank goodness I live 200 miles away from them
Aww thanks Georgina. I’m loving my mixed media experience
Hello all
A bit late today. Thanks for looking after us last month, Mel @aquilacrafts and for taking it on this month, Sue @SueTrevor
Welcome back to those who have been away and to newcomer, Steve @linthamdesigns
That’s great that your Dad’s back home, Sue @SusanBettyArt - hope he continues to recover well.
A new listing from me today (some of the decorations that didn’t sell yesterday!):
All loved to here.
Please can you add 4 sales to the tally for me Mel @aquilacrafts
Many thanks to a fellow 365er x
Steve @linthamdesigns …make sure you visit everyone’s shop and click the heart button next to their listing,… not just on this thread.
I haven’t seen your “Like” pop up in my shop activity yet, so wonder if you realised that this is what you have to do…?..
We can help you if you get stuck x
Thank ou to everyone for the warm welcome, I try my best to keep up with you all. As I keep saying since I retired (16 months ago ) I have all the time in the world, but to be honest, I don’t know where the time goes.
Clive says Thankyou
Do you still have the rabbit ? x
I have now Brenda, the reason is, after I did my post, I liked everyone above me then went out for the day, walking on the beach with a pack of Sighthounds, had lunch, then had a look at a campervan we might be upgrading to, now just picked up my tablet to check on the forum. I just don’t know where the time goes , think I might have to have a lie down
Happy dancing Lynn it’s me this month
I’m glad that your Dad is on the mend Susan @SusanBettyArt. on the subject of useless siblings I have two a sister and an older brother. My sister I tend to let off as she has certain needs but my brother he either doesn’t know how to do things or pretends he doesn’t in the hope that he isn’t asked again.
