Hi all, just popping in to wish you a very good Christmas day tomorrow, whether busy or not. Kids are usually up around 5ish, so it will certainly be a loong one for me. We are already tracking father Christmas on the phones at the moment, hoping the tracker will not show he is over the English sky before we go to bed, otherwise I will be in big trouble!

Evening everyone – here we are on the heels of Chanukkah/Christmas Eve (both falling on the same day – although Chanukkah Eve isn’t really a thing - I just don’t want to feel left out).
My house smells amazing from the Roast that was cooking in the crockpot all day with potatoes and veg (where it will marinate overnight after done cooling off - for dinner tomorrow for 1st night of Chanukkah).
And in the morning, I will be busy shredding potatoes in order to make some lovely latkes for myself and my hugsband (and if Zara, my dog, is lucky, we might give her one too) – they are a potato pancake if you don’t know and they are absolutely delicious !!
But for now - here is my listing for the day – fitting as we are almost ready to start a new year and you might need a new calendar/diary !

Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy Christmas. Ours began on Sunday when we all gathered together at our daughter’s house in Stevenage. Our eldest son and family came over from Germany and youngest son and family travelled down from Nottinghamshire. We had a lovely day together and an extra couple of days with our oldest son who have now moved on to his in laws. We are staying here until Boxing Day before going home. My daughter, teenage granddaughters and I have just got back from a ride around the area looking at Christmas lights. They are still excited about the whole Christmas experience at 17 and 15!!
