Good morning everyone gloriously sunny today 
We had a bit of overnight drama my mum woke to a wet bathroom floor and water coming down from the ceiling. Luckily my ex sister in law and her partner were able to go to her after a call from the emergency alarm people. Luckily not a burst pipe but still a substantial drip which had built up over time.
Seems likely to be from the rented flat upstairs although there was nothing obvious. Thankfully that flat is owned by a near neighbour and she is on the case with a plumber arriving shortly so fingers crossed just a bit of straightforward repair work to do.
Shows Mum’s support system works but still a worry being so far away.
Sorry about all the aches and pains take care all who are suffering.

Morning all. It’s beautifully sunny here but I’m currently doing a shift in our local makers shop and wishing I had a warmer jumper and some lemon drizzle cake! I had hoped it would be busy this morning but so far I’ve only had a few browsers.

Good morning all, Cloudy and chilly here today but it was so nice to see some sun yesterday. Good luck with all those doing fairs. I keep thinking thats what I should do going into next year, but the mind is willing but the body isn’t 
We used to do antique fairs years ago, they were hard work but great fun, great comradery.

Hi all, I’m going to take a few days out, I’ve had to go back to the GP as my pain killers have caused a flare up of acute diverticulitis and I’m not well at all. I managed to persuade the dr that I didn’t need to go to hospital but if I’m no better by tomorrow then I’ll be off to the grange. Hopefully I’ll be back soon x

Thanks for the kind words about Mum. The good news is the leak has been found in the upstairs flat and repairs are underway. Mum’s ceiling will be mended in a couple of weeks when things have dried out. Amazing what can happen when everyone is nice and sensible - mum also plays a very good slightly confused, helpless elderly lady which helps
