A relist from me today.
Hello,
Still hanging on to a bit of dry and bright weather here for now. It’s very noisy as the diggers are in stripping the old weedy grass before cultivating and seeding grass. The ground has been compacted with machinery during the build so it needs a bit of work before seeding.
Going out in norwich with sons and son’s girlfriend this evening for a few 
and a pizza before they all head off back to uni in the next week or two.

Freezing here. It was 7c this morning. The sunny side of the house is warm, but the rest is arctic - guess which side my cupboard (studio) is in!
I have to keep coming through for a warm up. Anyhow, a sunny card for today…
Freezing cold here, heating has come on. But also bright and sunny! Spent all morning finishing this peg bag, had to put my thick coat on to go outside to do some photos! They look like a warm day, but believe me, it isnt.

Looks like I’ll have to close my shop next week while we go down to London.
Our tenant moved out a few weeks ago, and management company have sent us the quotes to re-decorate and replace the laminate flooring in our tiny London flat - £5K.
Plus last time any work needed doing it took 5 months to complete, which is another £5K in lost rental income.
OH is on holiday next week, so we’ve decided to go down and do it ourselves (OH is good at that sort of thing - I’ll clean and make tea!)

Georgina. @GeorginaCrawfordArt …the squares for the carpet were just collected over the years and kept in the airing cupboard. They are in blocks of 5 squares, so that we can lift them hoover underneath and small enough to put in the washing machine.
When you have crocheted for over 60 years you have to do “something” with the left over oddments.
As for a guy in the basement,no basement…but I have two spare bedrooms so there is room for one… The tv programme didn’t show the handcuffs ha ha.
Very late today, popped out with hubby this morning, then I did some sewing and have finished off 2 bags, but too late for photo’s, I’ve missed the daylight. Not sure if I’ll get them done tomorrow as we are off to Canterbury hospital for hubbys appointment with the oncologist to discuss his treatment plan.
