Morning all, definetely milder here today, although I think we escaped the really cold weather some of you had. One of the benefits of being on the wetter side of the country I guess - I need to remember that when it’s bucketing down all summer .
Today’s listing is another of my little drawstring bags. I made these to go with my felt playmats as small toy storage, but some are in great prints for teens and adults so I’m listing a few separately. I’ll see how they do. This one has a tropical fish theme
Thanks for the well wishes, feel back to myself today and hoping to get back into the swing of things this week!
Caught up on the weekend love and news. So sorry Cara for your sad news @FelstedFleece Carrots looked such a character
Pleased your sister is improving and hope she soon gets home Caroline @Caroleecrafts
Glad you are both on the mend Mel @aquilacrafts and Sara @dotterypottery
We still have ice outside this morning but hopefully everything will start to melt soon!
Morning all. According to the Met Office it’s 10 degrees here today, and that actually feels about right! Shorts & t-shirt weather (if it wasn’t for the pouring rain)!
Morning.
I feel like I should be wearing shorts and a t-shirt today as it’s like Summer with a temp of 4 degrees! A huge change from the sub zero temps of the past week. Still snow and ice around but more green than white in the garden now. The heating has turned itself off which is wonderful for our bank balance as I think it’s been permanently on for days in this old, drafty house.
Just a relist from me, new ‘stuff’ coming soon if I get decent enough light for the photos.
Morning all, first regular start back to school after Christmas this morning after delayed starts or closures all last week. The compacted snow has turned to sheet ice - albeit patchy - so still quite hazardous out and about.
I still have a lot to get in order and photograph so another relist from me today;
Good morning everyone bit grey here but a dry week with some sun is forecast.
Hugs to all who need or want them glad to hear many are feeling better and warmer.
I am going to split the pack again today as I have an ironing morning planned. The pile is about to tumble so I can’t ignore it any longer. Maybe I will become a folder and not an ironer !
Some little rocking birds today these just make me smile
Good morning everybody. No frost this morning. Yippee! I should be able to make it to the Post Office without finding any ice to slip on.
What lovely items you all have to show today. Here’s mine for the day - another little vest which had somehow escaped being listed. Butterfly vest
I will join you at 12.30. I put the bags with clothes on the floor at the bottom end of the bed, when my boy starts tripping over them at night when comes for goodnight kiss, it’s a sign from above that my time is up. He tripped (and fell over) twice last night, so I take it as a direct push from the god of ironing. Luckily he falls on the bags and he finds it funny that he cannot go past, otherwise I would be in trouble
Feeling very happy here that I did the enormous pile of ironing yesterday Only because we get cheaper electricity on a Sunday from 11am to 4pm and I refuse to make the ironing worse by paying full price for the privilege if I can help it!
Hope everyone is staying warm – it was still like 1degree when I went outside to walk Zara … so, cold in my book. We haven’t seen double digits in a while – so jealous of you all who have double digit weather
And today’s posting —
For those of us who still like to print out photos – this gift is for you !
Just had a lovely chat with my sister, she is so much better. Has to go back to the hospital on Wednesday for another blood test. Her and BIL got confused with the maps, sorted them both out. Know where they are going now.
Got onto family homes and we found one of the houses that my Dad built in Holmbury St Mary. His trademark eyebrow windows and styling.
