My son received a gift of a ready made fresh pasta meal and the box was lined with thick wool wadding…so i have been shreading that and putting it out for the birds for the last couple of years. I love to see them come down for it. It is such a beautiful day today so hopefully they will have been down for some.

Mel @aquilacrafts and Anna @Fififoxi - I didn’t know that as I always thought it was just us. In 2015 we were forced to leave that one and to go into a new one that all the new starters were on. So now we have to work out the two of them for what we will recieve. It is all double Dutch to me!

I like the three matching ones but this might just be because they are a solid colour? The three different ones are also very nice but because of the different colours too it’s a lot to take in at first glance.

I’m not sure how much having ‘no sales’ puts off buyers on E…y Lynnette. If you start up perhaps you could list two £1.00 items and encourage a friend or relative to buy them just to test your shop is working correctly and that you can fulfill orders (probably not strictly legitimate but I think it’s a sensible thing to do). Like most new ventures things start off slow it took me ages to get to 20 sales on E…y (I’m talking years) but then momentum picks up and sales get steadier and more frequent.
It’s nice to know Folksy has been around since 2008 - they must be doing a lot right to have been around so long and I really agree it’s a great community here.

Hurray I am up to date again…it is amazing all the lovely makes which are listed on this thread in just one day!! I love all the fabulous material used for bags, purses, pencil cases etc Kim @KBCreations your Cheetah coin purse and your yellow floral bag Mel @aquilacrafts your apron Valerie @girlofthesixties your gorgeous jungle cusion cover…and all the rest. I love material now but my lasting memory is of being dragged around the material shops in Leeds, especially downstairs in Lewis’ and hating every moment!

A little bit later on today, by the time we did our soggy walk, I went to the hygienist and the Werewolf met his bestie on our afternoon walk, so we had a game of fetch with two slingers and three balls. He utterly wiped out now

No listing for me again today.
BUT id like to report that yesterday I had my 1st sale since opening my shop in October this was closely followed by a 2nd. Both sales were from fellow folksy sellers. I thought id be happy dancing, but instead was quite tearful of their kindness.
So thats 2 sales for me @MaxPringJewellery
