Sheās gorgeous. Catās do like wrapping paper and boxes donāt they. This is Gimli earlier today.
I agree. Tawdry! Itās one of the things I hate about E* and why I always try to shop on Folksy first, so I hope weāre not going the same way. Although I suppose that what one person finds obscene, another finds just a bit naughty.
Max @MaxPringJewellery I am so glad that they found nothing untoward on your scan and really hope that there is no negative change on the next one. Itās good that these things are monitored isnāt it? But it can also be stressful!
Hereās a relist today. Hoping for a new listing tomorrow.
Millie says thank you she knows she is. Any box or paper Jane and theyāre there like a shot. Gimli is gorgeous. Maine Coon or DLH?
Hi, I really appreciate some help please. I have supposedly made my first shop sale but absolutely nothing is showing on my folksy account or my PayPal. The lady insisted that she has paid but all I am getting is loads of emails telling me there is a problem on my side? And something about a Ā£300 balance? Here is two of the emails! Is it a con? Or has anyone experienced this as Iām at a loss for what to do as on my end nothing is showing as an order? Really hope someone can help thanks carla x
I agree as wellā¦I donāt mind rude jokes but in the right placeā¦privately, the pub or a party perhaps but NOT on Folksyā¦to me it lowers the tone and the stylish hand made place that Folksy strives to be x
Iād email Folksy to make sure youāve had a sale. There are so many scams out there at the moment.
Seems very odd that nothing is showing on your dashboard if there has been a sale.
I have never heard of a PayPal for commerce account.
What address has the Folksy email come from, looks suspicious.
I also find it hard to see that particular shop as selling craft goods, But then, define craftā¦
DLH. Although he is often mistaken for a Maine Coon!
I have had an echeque from Foljsy before but always shown as a receipt as payment pending for clearance. Takes about 7 days. Not sure what the £300 is about reads as if she has done through a business account, again sounds dodgy. Agree check with Folksy.
I thought something would show up to but as Iām new to this I wasnāt completely sure. The Folksy email was from replyfolksy@gmail.com
Maybe thereās some Maine Coon in him. My three are Maine Coons.
Thanks, I have forwarded to Folksy and I will have to wait to hear back from them. All very confusing to me as I havenāt made a sale yet, but very strange that nothing is showing in my PayPal account even though I have had loads of emails from them? telling me to add Ā£300 into the Paypal account. Then I received another email telling me to refund her? again no money in there to refund her. Plus the tag was Ā£2 but surely the p&p would be added to the totally amount not just the Ā£2. Lots of things not adding up. Thanks for yours and everyones help I really appreciate it xxx
My motto is āif in doubt donāt do itā. If they are ānice genuine customersā they will be quite happy to wait a little longer while you sort out any anomalies and check everythingās OK with Folksy - a customer who is in an unreasonable hurry, or pressures you to āget a move onā could well be a scammer (or difficult to deal with) either way you can do without that sale.
Thanks, I have contacted Folksy. Could be genuine but I also think everything is a scam nowadays lol x
Wow! She looks beautiful
I agree, she has sent me about 6 emails and seems nice but you can never tell. Apparently Paypal emails address you by name as well, all the emails I have received today do not mention my name at all. If she turns out to be genuine hopefully she will not mind the delay x
When I had my first sale, which was only a couple of weeks ago, I got two emails from Paypay - one saying a payment had been received from the buyer (also said her name so I could verify it) and another saying that my funds were on hold as I was a new seller. I think Iād read about others getting this email, so I think itās normal, but nothing about paying any money. I have to wait up to 21 days unless I get several other sales or Ā£200 worth of sales (which isnāt happening!!). I also got two emails from Folksy - one from the Folksy Team and another from the ārobotā saying congratulations on my first sale. This is what the paypal email said:
Just thought Iād let you know what I got so you can compare.
Evening all, one for the tally please Sue @SueTrevor
Has my scam senses on high alert Carla @carlascreativecrafts, I would let Folksy deal with it and donāt click or share any information. Even with an e-cheque the sale would still be showing on your dashboard even if there ws a delay wth the paypal payment
