Folksy Gift Challenge! - Is it possible to buy all your Christmas Gifts from Folksy?

Hello all,

I thought I would try this fun challenge and try to get all (or nearly all) my Christmas gifts from Folksy this year!

I reckon I might just about do it because I tend to buy or make something handmade most years, but if anyone wants to join me perhaps we can share our progress here, cheer each other on, showcase the gifts we have bought and in January maybe we can celebrate our success.

(My apologies if this is already a topic or challenge, I did have a look to see if it existed.)

This is a good idea, I’m trying to buy a present at the moment but my internet or folksy is playing up and I keep getting bad request!

Mine has been doing that for nearly two weeks. I tried another browser on a different device and it works fine on that :woman_shrugging:

Great idea! I normally do try but always have trouble with the men of the family who tend to end up with gift vouchers.

Well, I actually bought last night my first present for Christmas, it is from a fellow Folksy maker and it is for my daughter. I will do a post here when I get it, and I’m also planning to take a few nice pictures to do a Facebook shoutout, which will have to be after Christmas though, as my daughter does get fascinated by checking my page, and I don’t want of course to spoil the surprise! I have in mind a second one I want to buy as well, but I am still looking for the one that will click to me!

If the men in your life like hand knitted items, I have a range of a few different things, including gift vouchers. If you get stuck with ideas, do visit my shop. I also accept custom orders.

Ive also been getting bad request 400 for about 2 weeks too. I looked up the code it mentioned URLs and stuff?? Im still unsure if its me or a Folksy glitch?

Same here, but it was impossible to get on yesterday, I wonder how it’ll be today. I even tried incognito and it was still the same.
Usually, if there is a problem you come to the folksy forums and loads of other people will have mentioned it. So I was wondering if it was just me as there are no threads about it.
