Folksy Pets

As we love all our pets thought a separate thread would be a tribute to them. Also any problems could be discussed.

I will start off with Shiloh an English Cream Golden Retriever, a reprobate, loving and so cheeky. He knows how to wrap us round his paw.

I remember reading on your blog your excitement when you first got Shiloh, he’s such a beauty, I don’t have any pets at the moment, used to have dogs and both my grown up children have cats.

May be sorry you started this

Ok so don’t have any right now unfortunately but here are the dearly departed in chronological order. They are all legends in their own right.

First up is Machu and Picchu (Aka Big Pig and L’il P) looking festive an pretending they could stand next to each other without having a rumpus.

Next is Cholula (Aka Chu Chu) looking cute while carrying out an audit of her cage - she was very particular.

Then there’s El Chupacabra (Aka El), lovely but feisty.

And last up El’s sister Pom Pom - couldn’t really call her anything else (Aka Princess Pom Pom but my old boss called her DTW - Donald Trump’s Wig!)

I have two rescue rats at the mo.

This is esmeray, she’s a scaredy rat

This is Morwen who is full of fun and adventure

These two were adopted from the rspca in January but sadly both have died. They both had the most beautiful little hearts. They were traumatised by their experiences before they were rescued so took time to win over. I miss them

This is my assistant Gordon! He’s a rescue dog and we love him to bits. He can’t see too well but it doesn’t seem to bother him as his nose works overtime!

…and these are mine!
First up is one of my tortoises (though “temporarily” staying in Italy with my mum)

And these are my lovely furry friends

I’ve got a terrapin as well staying with us here but he’s not very photogenic

@feelfeltfound DTW is a brilliantly descriptive name! Although I’d probably have shortened it to Wiggy

This has to be my favourite thread! Here’s my Monty the cockerpoo aka Sir Montigue Barkalot. He’s very keen on stealing things, especially pears from the garden (which he guards then eventually eats.)

I love seeing cassie on your Instagram

I’m going to add a feathery face to this thread! This is Moriarty. He is a recent rehome and approx. 1 year old (though he behaves much younger!) Introductions with my other two are ongoing & a slow & gradual process.
