Here’s what March and April looked like on Folksy. There are some interesting little nuggets in there.
-
Both of the busiest days for sales were Fridays.
-
‘Jubilee’ was one of the most searched for terms in March but not April
-
Google is still the way most people find and buy products on Folksy.
-
About a third of all sales are processed through Stripe.
-
Sales of products in support of Ukrainian relief charities have been really high - although we are now seeing a definite drop off.
-
‘Nesting’ was one of the top searches in April but we’re not sure why!
-
Pinterest is a brilliant referrer but not nearly as good at converting to sales as Facebook (which is the best) or Instagram.

It’s great to read the monthly stats against the previous month. Here’s to May being even more impressive.

Very interesting, looking forward to the months ahead stats too.
Really interesting, thanks Camilla - is it possible to have a monthly roundup of Folksy’s promotional/marketing activity too?

We’re planning on relaunching our Press Page soon, which will give a round-up of recent press coverage. Hopefully that will help give a better idea of everything we’ve been working on.
You can find it here but it hasn’t been updated for ages! We have a LONG list of features to add to it
