Free promotional opportunity at suffolk wedding fayre

Hello Fellow Makers and Crafters.

As well as my natural soap business(Bathology) that I run as a side-gig, I am the organiser of the Trinity Park Wedding Fayre (at the Suffolk Show ground). We are having another event on the 24th September and I wanted to reach out to give local small wedding suppliers the opportunity to showcase their products within our goody bags, which are given specifically to the wedding couple.

This is an ideal opportunity for you to showcase your small business in exchange for some samples. Our last wedding fayre in February saw approx 600 visitors through our doors (dont worry, we are not looking for that many samples!, if you are able to supply close to 100 that would be great).

What I am looking for are samples of your products which you would be happy to include into our goody bags and obviously you are then encouraged to include your own marketing details with these, ie website, QR scan code, offers, etc, so that couples are then able to find you…

Theres no catch, its a mutually beneficial opportunity. You get to advertise your business for the cost of a few samples and we get to include them in our coveted goody bags making the wedding fayre more enticing for guests.

As an example I have a natural soap business, and our last event I included samples of my soaps as a possible wedding favour idea. I wrapped each one with a wedding belly band as an example of what their favours could look like. It proved a wise move as my website had lots of news hits and several large orders to boot.

Please do give me a call on my office number 01473 707123, I would be happy to discuss, or email me at sarah.davies@trinityparkevents.co.uk

Sorry this may be ideal for larger business but for me the minimum cost with no profit would be £200 for 100 items. There is no way I could go to that. Have done wedding fairs before and never got any orders. Lots of interest yes, collect samples and cards etc then no orders.

Hope you do well on the day

Sorry but the same for me…these things rarely bring in any orders or work and usually cost a lot of money in giving away freebies x

No problem, I understand. It might suit other types of small business who’s costs are not that much, or hold a few remaining samples like printed invitations that kind of thing.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
