How much change to bring as float at a craft show?

Hi all. I’ll be going to my first-ever craft show as a stall holder soon, and was wondering how much change to bring with me? My full-price items are all under £10 and in increments of 25p, so I’ve stocked up on £1, 50p, 20p, and 5p coins, but I’m not sure how much I’ll need altogether. I’ve also got a card reader.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I take a £50 float of £5 notes, £1 and silver change (50, 20 & 10s). I don’t think I need that much really and the majority of buyers pay by card but I have always had this cash box figure and it works for me.

My prices are round number of 50ps you will likely need 5ps too.

I would take at least two £10 notes and a couple of £5s. There is always someone who turns up early on and buys something small with a £20 and nearly wipes you out!
