I'm feeling like Harry Potter with his invisibility cloak again :-(

Hello Bridget @xBridgetx

Spookily enough I have got some little Halloween stud earrings in the pipeline

Shall I give you a shout when I pop them into the shop for you to have a peek at ?

I wondered if Folksy tends to favour certain sellers because they list a lot of items. Obviously the site is not a charity and maybe those of us who don’t spend a lot of money on lots of listings maybe don’t get such a high profile on the site? This does make it tough for those of us who have a limited amount of time to make things tho’!

I don’t feel that’s the case for me, my stuff takes ages to do and I only list occasionally. Not that I’m ā€œfavouredā€ but I don’t feel that was the criteria for getting on the FP with my stuff.

I’m sure that’s not true!
I have seen many featured sellers who rarely promote and sometimes have fairly small shops.

I certainly hope so, as I only have 4 items in my shop at the moment. However, given that so many others have not had a lot of exposure, I will not be holding my breath! My aim is to get people who are already interested in my Facebook page onto my Folksy page, because there are so many items for sale on Folksy that any sales just involving Folksy would be a matter of pure luck.

I don’t think that’s true @SamanthaStanley I have over 140 items in my shop and list new ones everyday and have never been featured. In fact I saw a featured seller not long ago with only 4 or 5 items in their shop and no sales!
