Good morning everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2016 brings you all every happiness you dream of and more xxx
I will try and get back into the swing of the thread soon, just back to work today so its all busy busy busy and my mum dropped a bit of a bombshell on me this morning, she has been diagnosed with TB and its quite serious, she has an appointment on Wednesday with her consultant to get some tests done re treatment etc so will go with her to know more, its all happened so quickly, she has emphysema and suffers quite badly and they had been testing lately for other infections etc so this is what has shown up. Anyone know anyone who suffered with TB? Am a bit worried about it being spread etc with Ella and all but I know that’s probably very minimal, always something!

Thank you Jacqueline. I have managed to get an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
Apparently my Dr’s surgery doesn’t do same day appointments anymore.
But.I’m happy I got the one for tomorrow.
Colleen @MidnightStarDesigns. Big hugs I’m sure the doctor’s will get her on the right.medication to sort things out. My thoughts are with you.

Oh Colleen, it is so worrying. Is it possible to call your surgery or the NHS advice line to ask about the risks? It might just put your mind at rest and help you know what to do for the best.

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all. Hope you have all enjoyed the Christmas Festivities. Sorry to have abandoned you at the end of December - everything caught up with me and I had to take a break. The New Year was very upsetting for us as my Husband’s Sister lost her battle with liver cancer on New Years’ Day. She had been given three months about a month ago but didn’t even manage that. We are getting to dread New Year in our family as this is the third close member of family we have lost on a New Years Day - we dont look forward to New Year now. Have some catching up to do but will catch up over the next few days. Today I have listed this Lace Pansy Bookmark - be nice to see them in the garden soon. Be back later - Maureen

Gosh Colleen that is a worry and concern for all! I do hope she gets the treatment she needs and that ere is no issue with infections.
