Hope her wrist is not too painful, my son broke his arm a few years ago on the first day of the school summer holiday and 2 weeks before we were due to go to Cornwall! Luckily I mentioned this when they took off the temporary plaster cast to put on the ‘proper’ one as they had a ‘waterproof’ lining that they used underneath instead of the usual cotton bandage, this meant he could still go in the sea (although his usual body boarding was still off limits) and shower without worrying too much if it got a bit damp.

I will be in and out during the month, I finish for holidays Tuesday/Wednesday next week and Ella’s birthday is on Thursday and I will be off the following week so I definitely wont be regular but I will pop in when I can.

Good morning.
Yesterday trying to get around Kent was horrendous. Because the Port of Calais is closed, they close the M20 and use it as a lorry park which causes gridlock all around the area I live. I’m normally home from my school run at 5.10pm - yesterday I got home at 6.30. My hubs is normally home at 5.25 - yesterday 6.15 and my brother (who is currently living with us) is normally home at 5.15 - yesterday 7.15! Thank you everyone for the well wishes for my oldest, she’s dealing really well with it and it’s not a traditional cast that she has either. It’s more like a support with a splint but she can remove it for showering and playing in water, she just needs to be careful she doesn’t knock it
