We hardly ever see any slugs in our garden. Yesterday and today though I do have a pesky magpie keep popping in my back door!

Well, one daughter has gone to 6th form induction day, the other gone shopping for her holiday so I find myself at home alone…yippee craft time. Have made a couple of pictures (still drying) and this scarf which I am really pleased with.

Hello Pearls. Sorry I went AWOL, just too much going on at home…
I’ve finally caught up: congratulations on everyone’s sales. I’ve had a pretty good month on here all told, although it’s gone quiet in the past few days. I think the hot weather doesn’t help and it’s usually slower in the summer anyway. I’m trying to use the time to make things ahead of the [hopefully] Chr*****s rush!

Afternoon everyone - late in the day for me but have just spent hours unpacking and displaying Quilts - just got up to 21 - didn’t realise I had so many - must try and clear some. Now will try and catch up with you all - just noticed my viewing figures for today on GA are dreadful but have not been around to do any promoting. I shall be putting my shop in holiday mode for the weekend and will not be around much. Will now pin and tweet todays listings before tea - Maureen

Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign - will try your grapefruit trick - Liz @lizdyson - we would never use pellets - they are lethal for all other wildlife - if a hedgehog or bird or any other animal for that matter eats a snail or slug that has eaten or been on pellets they also die and if a cat digs in soil with pellets in it and then licks its paws they also have been known to die so pellets are a no no for us. Working with Cat Protection we have seen some very sick animals from snail pellet poisoning. Be back later - Maureen
Oh dear, Maureen, that doesn’t sound good, does it? My cat digs in the vegetable patch all the time, but so far has been OK. Also, we’ve not seen a litter of dead small animals either, thankfully. I’ll have to have a re-think.

Back in from another day at work and pleased to say, Hayfever was much more manageable today! Yay! Just started to rain here too, so a nice little drink for the garden and my fruit trees!

Hi everyone - really quiet on here today. I have caught up and loved so many things.
Glad to see so many sales today - great news for the tally. What is the highest sales total ever Natalie?
Been busy with trying to find out antique hall marks and makers marks on some jewellery - it is a nightmare, but I think I have them now.
I have loads of de-stash in my drafts section ready to list and some new pieces as well. I shall be listing those over the next few days.
Loving the look of that cherry bakewell soap today…mmmmmmm cherry bakewell (said like Homer Simpson)
