I stopped selling to the EU when the packaging regs came in anyway. Some countries were too costly for me and to be honest, with needing XY for this country and XYZ for that country, I didn’t really understand it all so I just stopped EU sales.

Is that from the app? What you see on the website is subtly different. Rest of the world also no longer includes EU.

Apparently there’s only 6 and I guess they’re classed as rest of the world. Shame we can’t choose where to ship tho.

Hope you don’t mind me asking, but I haven’t found anything that suggests Folksy have resolved the crucial part of GPSR - ie the EU based rep. If you’ve found a post or a message saying they have, would you have the time to link it please? Thanks so much

I don’t think they’ve got an EU rep sorted yet - have a feeling that may take a while - but they have broken down the postage options so we can exclude the countries we want/need to.
I think I’m going to come up with my own acronym re posting/EU etc etc: ‘FFS’ - it’s a new directive that means you can swear with confidence and alacrity whenever necessary. It’s free to use and you can do it as often as you like…

They haven’t engaged a rep, I think they were looking into it but at least that is something sellers can do themselves and there’s a place to put the details. But they have sorted the things we couldn’t do ourselves i.e. the postage options and being able to add the relevant info to listings. Which is way more than some other platforms I could mention but won’t!
