Hi, I have almost finished knitting this pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sarahs-hippo but am really struggling to understand the instructions to make it up! Could anyone help me by explaining how I am supposed to join the head to the body?

Hi Jo, I’ve read it a few times and I’m stuck. Where it says turn body inside out etc, I’m lost there. I think you need to contact the pattern seller for help. Sorry I can’t be of any more help. Liz.
Your knitting has a right and wrong side.
You need to have the body piece with the wrong side showing (inside out)
You need to have the head piece with the right side showing (right side out)
You have a neck opening on the body, place the head piece inside the neck opening for sewing. This will put the right side of the body and the right side on the head together for sewing.
That’s how I read it anyway.
Hi, thanks for your replies. I understand the principle of what the instructions are saying. It’s the position of the head I don’t understand. I’m not clear what should match where? Any help with this would be much appreciated!!
