Help needed with reading pattern

Would appreciate it if someone could help me understand this pattern instruction!

Next row (RS) (inc): P21 (22: 24: 25: 27), K2, P1, M1, K33 (35: 37: 39: 41), M1, P1, K2, P21 (22: 24: 25: 27).
83 (87: 93: 97: 103) sts.
Next row: K21 (22: 24: 25: 27), P2, K1, P35 (37: 39: 41: 43), K1, P2, K21 (22: 24: 25: 27).
Working all increases as set by last 2 rows, inc 1 st at either side of centre panel on every foll 8th (10th) row until there are 97 (101: 107: 111: 117) sts, taking inc sts into st st.

Thanks in advance

Next row (right side of knitting showing) (row including increases): Purl 21 stitches (or 22: 24: 25: 27 depending on size), knit 2 stitches, make 1 stitch, knit 33 stitches (or 35: 37: 39: 41 depending on size), make 1 stitch, purl 1, knit 2, purl 21 (or 22: 24: 25: 27 depending on size).
You should now have 83 stitches (or 87: 93: 97: 103 depending on size)
Next row: Knit 21 (22: 24: 25: 27), purl 2, knit 1, purl 35 (37: 39: 41: 43), knit 1, purl 2, knit 21 (22: 24: 25: 27)
This will help with the ‘make stitch’ instruction How to Increase Stitches with Make One (M1) in Knitting
You then do 8 more rows without any increases before repeating the increase process as outlined in the above rows (ie make a stitch on either side of the central panel so the section I’ve italicised will get longer by 2 stitches with each repeat). You repeat this until you have 97 (101: 107: 111: 117) stitches (depending on size), which would be 8 lots of increases.

Any clearer?

Thank you so much, this is really really helpful!

When I do 8 more rows, do I alternate between row 1 and row 2 (excluding the increase), then repeat the increase process.
Appreciate your help

yes - that way you’ll keep for flat central panel and the ridged border.

Thank you!!
