Thank you for your comments Alexandra.. Pinterest hasn’t really worked for me in terms of shop/visits/sales but I do use it for research etc. I see you use a quite lovely (young!) model (is it you?). Unfortunately I am not very photogenic and don’t have anyone to regularly model for me, so I decided not to go down that route. I do sometimes hold the jewellery to show size though. I think Instagram might be a better fit for me, but we shall see! Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post, and your quill jewellery is very pretty and unusual.x
Ahh thank you, yes that’s me I actually found an offer on Pinterest saying that if you spend 15£ over 7 days on an ad they will give you 10£ back, so that really helped me. I’m still very new to this but I thought maybe something I did will help someone else Hope you’ll get those sales coming through soon Good luck!
And good luck to you Alexandra! I’m thinking maybe it’s a good idea to focus on one promotional outlet at a time, get familiar with it, then try others (especially if, like me, you’re not a social media natural!) I’m glad Pinterest worked out for you, and I will probably try it again once I’ve given Instagram a really good go. Thanks again for your good ideas and suggestions.
I think everyone is suffering lack of or fewer sales. I’m getting loads of “looks”, but very, very few sales. People seem to be too concerned or trying to eke out their possibly lower income. It can only get better!
