Good morning everyone. Thank you all for the well wishes for Mel. She was extremely brave in the hospital yesterday and allowed them to carry out all their tests without much protest. They gave her a blood transfusion and she was allowed back home late afternoon. She needs to go for another blood test in a few days to check that her haemoglobin hasn’t dropped again. They still don’t know the underlying cause, but have our fingers crossed that it’s nutrition related and not something more serious. We were really impressed with the same day emergency care unit they were all amazing and very patient with Mel.

Good evening
My son had a driving experience this morning where he got to drive a Ferrari and apparently got up to 70mph! Great fun for him, and they do passenger laps where one of their drivers takes them round at racing speed, which he and my hubby enjoyed! That was followed by a lovely lunch at a local Italian place. It was his Christmas present and this was the only date available, so it’s also a ‘good luck with A levels’ present I guess!
Anyway glad Mel was looked after well for her appointment yesterday, Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio - hope they can find out the underlying cause soon.

My brother used to do racing experience days Judy. He started as a racing driver, racing with the likes of Nigel Mansell and Ayrton Senna! then co ran a racing team and did race days as a bit extra on the side, he took some quite famous people around the track back in the day. Such fun. He was also a driver for an audi advert. He’s retired now but still busy.

Lovely weather, just wish the wind would come from the south as a bit chilly at times. Bought a load of plants at the farm shop, all in apart from an acer. Going in one of the wooden areas and Lee may be digging avoiding roots for some time.

You may remember me saying my daughters wedding venue had been shut due to structural damage and she may have to have it in a marquee. The good news is it is reopening on July 1st just over a month before her wedding. Phew.

Morning,
Lots of family stuff today. Youngest son has been back for the weekend so dropping him at the train station, then to FiL and on to my aunt and uncle’s where my cousin from Australia is visiting.

Morning all.
Looking forward to seeing my son and his family today for a bbq, we had our daughter and grandchildren over yesterday, it was just a shame we couldn’t get them all together on the same day.

I’m just popping in to say, Hi. I had hoped to join in again in May, but I’ve been so busy carching up on garden/DIY jobs that got out of hand when I had so much time out last year, that I haven’t been in my studio at all.
