Welcome to the May - June Weekly listings and promotions thread!

Everyone welcome – this is a special place to showcase your listings if you only list weekly or even monthly

Please feel free to join in – don’t feel that you have to ask or wait to be invited.

The aim is to list an item (or more or less!) each week and post it on this thread. Once you have posted your picture link then please promote the person above you and any others you wish to, using Twitter, Stumbleupon, Pinterest, facebook etc. For each listing you make you promote at least one other.

Please say how you have promoted the person above with your listing post- thank you

Most importantly we will support each other through positive comments and general chat- pop by when you can.

A new thread will be started for each week on a Sunday morning/afternoon.

Hi all,
My computer is still playing up a bit, I think I’ll have to get my brother to travel down to fix it for me!!!

Ha Ha…!! Just been on Pinterest help centre, and they are aware of the problem. They suggest installing their browser button…so I did, and it works!!! Why didn’t I think of that before…doh!!

Hi Stevie and thanks for joining us. Lovely to have some new work and shops adding to the thread.feel free to post as often as you wish. We generally pin items, but facebooking, tweeting or whatever are equally welcome. We tend to ‘love’ each others items by clicking on the heart icon or on the ‘love this’ tab as this gives a chance of the item appearing on Folksy front page for a brief time.

Yes, pinning all sorted, thanks guys!!
Just need to get the laptop functioning properly so I can post quicker, here and on FaceBook…it is being frustratingly slow… :confounded:
I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve listed 4 owls today…Thought I’d get them all in while the laptop is sort of working…who knows when I’ll next manage it!!!

I agree Dawn, earrings are difficult to photograph, some more so than others.

Try to have different ‘props’ to hang them from. I find different glasses are better for some earrings than others.

Some can be photographed laying flat, others just don’t work that way.

I find that using a tripod usually gets better results than trying to hold the camera steady.

Whatever you do, they aren’t easy and seem to have a mind of their own!
