May Queens Daily Listing Challenge Club! 26th to 31st of May!

Gorgeous bag Lin! Adore it and so does my daughter!

Natalie x

Gosh, Lin, your bag is gorgeous - I love that colour.

I’m not thinking of leaving as such, but I am not investing any more money in the business, so it will run it’s natural course in the end.

Due to personal upheaval, I had not worked in the shop for 2 1/2 years and only came back in January of this year. Three years ago, when I was in my Folksy prime, I was selling 200 items per month, but so far this month I have sold 16, so things are not going as well as they did and I have a lot of work to do to regain the trust and confidence of my customer base. Speed forward to today and I am again facing upheaval in that I have to sell my house (divorce stuff) and try and find a much smaller house to rent in the village. I probably won’t have any room for all my stock, so I could do with drastically reducing what I have. I’m OK with this situation, it’s just the next phase in my life’s journey.

Sorry for waffling. While I tidy, I know I’m going to come across the corsages, so I’ll try and list a new one later.

White Tulip Fine Art Photograph A4 Print in an ivory mount

A study of a delicate white tulip. I treated myself to a bunch of tulips when I saw them outside a shop the other week, this one against a misty morning sky through the window just begged to be photographed. The image is captured with a digital camera …

Let’s hope the sun shines for a little bit longer today so we can all catch some rays at some point over the day.

Fingers crossed for lots of bank holiday sales for everyone.

Emma

PS - Natalie, I think you might have missed my sale off your tally smile

PPS - Thank you Liz for letting me know I had posted on the wrong week!

Still at craft fair but not doing too well. Weather not brilliant and people just don’t seem interested in buying anything (although the fudge stall next to me is doing well!). Think I might just stick to Christmas craft fairs in the future, they are the only ones I really make any money at.

Meanwhile, with her exams coming to an end my daughter has requested that I list these pet portraits for her. A couple more months and she will be old enough for her own shop! My. Shop is still “on holiday” until this evening but I think you can still visit, love, pin and tweet etc if you feel so inclined.

@saltmarshandsamphire - I can’t see the link for your picture and couldn’t find it in your shop either.

Looks like just the description has pasted but no link.

Afternoon all,

Lovely sunny day here in Norwich so I was able to gets lots of photos taken. A little bit of nostalgia today. I’m sure we all remember the old fashioned ‘sit up and beg’ manual typewriters and I for one will never forget having Pitman shorthand drummed into me! Mind you, I still use it today so it was worth it…
