New range opinion please

Good morning I’ve got a new range brewing, what do you think? What would you like to see next? Thanks for any feedback

Love the colours and the whole reasoning behind creating them, wonderful way to use up excess materials!

What a wonderful idea. I love that you’re not letting the resin go to waste. The resulting pieces are lovely too.

Because of my experience with surfite (a very similar layered waste resin build up) I’d recommend doing a stress test on a piece to make sure that the layers won’t separate if subjected to a knock or torsional force round a drill hole (especially on thinner pieces like in earrings). Occasionally I find there is poor adhesion between layers and they separate if you knock them.

Thank you for the tip. X with the earrings I’ve only drilled into a solid colour after drilling through layers proved a bad idea x

A couple more in progress to add, slightly different but still the same material. Have a fab day everyone

I would like to see some colorful matching set of earings and bracelet
Btw I’m in love with this necklace.

If birdandmonkey can’t make you something with her resinite, I could do you something in surfite (layered waste resin from surf board manufacture, they drain the excess resin off the board into a bucket and I managed to persuade someone in Newquay to sell me the cured bucketful which would have otherwise gone to landfill), I’ve been working with it for a few years and have mastered doing matched pairs.
