I have just signed up to sell here can someone advise me how i go about importing from Etsy and if that happens do all your items still stay in your Etsy shop as I want t run both platforms

You need to down load a csv file from Etsy and email it to support@folksy.com. If you drop them an email first they will be able to advise you of what needs to be included in the csv file. Yes your items will stay in Etsy, one of the key things to remember for SEO purposes is that titles and descriptions need to have some variance between the 2 sites or google etc think that one of the pages is spam and doesn’t show it in search results so be prepared to do some tweaking.
That’s brilliant thank you so much for your advise. I will email them to ask to do that as I think it will be much easier to import everything then tweak it in here and then run the two platforms but as you say with different tags titles and descriptions

Here are the instructions for downloading the csv (it’s the one under currently for sale listings on Etsy)

No tweaking of the file needed, just download it and then send it to support. The listings go to drafts on Folksy so if there are some you don’t want to include or tweak before listing, it’s easy to do after the import.
