Evening all,
We had a stall at a coffee morning fundraising for motor neuron disease today; and thankfully it went quite well. As a result we’ve had a mammoth catch up session.

Sadly no sales to report again today. I did manage to get some work done in the workshop - pictures to follow soon. Despite no proper heating in there, it was still warmer than the house. The men have been going great guns in here. Radiators have been removed and floor boards lifted. Pipework all descending from the loft all over the house - it looks a bit like a giant church organ in here! It is a huge job.
I will be putting my shop on holiday mode tomorrow. I am at a local fair in a private school this weekend. This is the third year I have done it and it will probably be my last year there as they want so much money for the table, money for the electricity socket, a donation for the raffle and you have to pay extra to be mentioned in their school magazine. The raffle donation is supposed to be voluntary, but they lay it on thick and point out that as they don’t also ask for a percentage of your takings on the day, then they feel you should donate to the raffle!!! It hasn’t really been too great the last two years, but I thought I would try it one last time. There is so much competition from bought in goods and companies, that hand made crafts sort of get swallowed up. At least if a sell a few things I will feel a little better about my work. I just can’t sell it at the moment! My Folksy plus account is up in two days and I still haven’t decided if I will renew it.
Oh well, I am off to bed to try and get warm. I hope all you poorly Ninjas have a better night xx

Good morning Ninjas, yay congrats and happy dancing for your sales peeps, I also had 2 overnight 
. I decided not to do the fair tomorrow just not looking forward to standing all day and we are going out afterwards too, lost money but hey ho these things happen. I have no idea where yesterday went, I spent most of it preparing for some presentations next week, never did get into my craft room, but I did go for cuddles with my granddaughter so that made my day :).
Jeanie @thecardjeanie I hope the treatment is not so bad and you recover quickly, sending hugs.
Also sending some positive thoughts to all poorly Ninjas, hope your back is feeling better Deborah, and your headaches improve Anita and your finger stops throbbing Roz, I don’t feel much like a Ninja either more like a winja lol!. Thank you for all the healing vibes and good wishes for my back, it’s not much better today but not getting any worse either, and the searing pain in my hip seems to be easing which is all good. Ooh Karen just the mention of acupuncture makes me shudder, I had a few sessions and at the last one she accidentally hit a nerve, felt like my back was on fire, never again! I do have exercises to do, but not tried a chiropractor yet, I should probably go back to the GP at some point to see if there are any new options :).

Morning Ninja’s sending my best wishes @thecardjeanie and hope the heatings soon sorted @JAustenJewelleryDesign we have snow here, so I text my daughter to ask if she had made it into work. I have her phone her as I am taking it to the shop to be mended, so I then text her to say she wouldnt get my message as her phone was still here!!! - I think I should go back to bed lol.

Good morning Ninjas - at least I think it is! Got to bed very late as I had to pick my daughter up from the station and didn’t get back here till gone 1am - still it could have been worse, she was meant to get a later train but got to the station to find the earlier one had been delayed and was still there. Other daughter arrives later this afternoon - I wonder how long it will be before they start arguing 
Surprise, surprise - no sales to report here either. I wonder if Christmas has been cancelled and we’ve not heard about it. Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign - all sounds a bit greedy, have to say I never found school fairs profitable unless you are selling chocolate!
Very excited as second daughter has been offered a place at Reading Uni next year so now we can all relax.
Spent most of yesterday afternoon perfecting the design of this headband. Had a couple of trial runs before making this one and used one on a walk - lovely and warm Wish my model didn’t look quite so stuck up!
Off to the dentist this morning to get broken filling replaced. Have a good day everyone.
