Posting a card from UK to Northern Ireland?

Hello

I have a request for a card (on the other side!) and their shipping address as far as I know is in Northern Ireland.

If she goes ahead and if this is still her address would I now need to add a custom label to it and therefore will I need the eori number for NI?

I have just recently got the other eori number but still not added any overseas countries back yet until I fathom out the tarriff codes but dont have the NI one yet.

I already told her I could make the card but I had forgot about all of this until I noticed her address was NI.

Although this isn’t a Folksy sale I thought I might get a better response on here :slightly_smiling_face:

Can anyone advise?

Thank you

Yvonne

If it’s Northern Ireland its the same cost and no codes the same as the uk. If it’s in the south of Ireland then its the same as the EU. It costs more and you need an ioss code I believe. If it was a folksy sale, they’d give you all the information you need when the order came through.

Thank you Sue.
It is Belfast and I did just try a test on Royal Mail and it didn’t ask for anything else.
If it’s just normal 1st/2nd class mail as before then that’s great.

Hi I am from County Down, in Northern Ireland and am a Folksy Seller. You really don’t need to worry about it, customs declarations are only required where the goods are being sent from a business to another business and where the value of the goods is greater than £135. Hope this is helpful to you

Northern Ireland is part of the UK and as such Royal Mail do not require customs forms. The item is not going to an international destination. Same price as an item in England, Wales or Scotland.

Thank you, that’s helpful to know.
As it happens I don’t need to send it now but handy for future reference, unless of course something else changes!!

Thank you Kevin
