Our surgery ask do you want one when you go for the flu jab, in my case they just do both, same for DH as he has to be careful not to catch anything.
Iām hoping theyāll do both mine at the same time, but Iāve got another month almost to wait for the flu jab. I rarely go anywhere to get exposed directly. My world has become very small in the last few years. But Matt works in retail so canāt avoid all the bugs all the time.
All loved to here.
Feel better soon Alison @allaboutthebeadswithalison
Iām another one who has had all the jabs, but despite self-isolating we still managed to get covid three times, once very mildly and twice absolutely awfully. The medics now believe all my lung problems are due to severe scarring from covid. (A bit over a year ago they thought I had lung cancer. I spent ten days in hospital with a collapsed lung. I can still cough for England, though I think I am slowly getting better. Fuss over!)
I have another little baby vest for you today:
Wow Iāve just had a sale. Nicki @GlintBeads please could you add it.
Iām another one keeping up with jabs. Hubby has had TB so we have to be careful
A tartan purse today

Thank you
Afternoon all,
Congratulations on your sales, Sarah @dotterypottery
and Valerie @valerie
I suspect some people are lucky enough to be immune to Covid.
I have never had Flu, and I never bother getting the Flu jab. However OH and I both had Covid, before there were any vaccines available, and it was horrible. The cough lasted for months afterwards, and we both lost our sense of smell, which gradually returned but that took about 6 months. Still not sure I can smell things as well as used to before Covid.
Hope you feel better soon Alison @allaboutthebeadswithalison
Hope you are able to find out what is going on with the heart issue, Sarah @dotterypottery - keep us posted!
Good afternoon all,
Hope you will feel better soon @allaboutthebeadswithalison.
Good luck for the fair @SueTrevor .
My listing for today - staying with the cats and pumpkins:
Afternoon,
Best of luck with your fair at the weekend Sue @SueTrevor
Had craft group in my old village this morning, a good opportunity to chat and make a pincushion!
Hmmm - now Iām getting ā400 Bad Requestā when I try to click on the listings?
I have posted another Craft Drop board on Instagram: (Donāt know if youāll be able to click on the link!)
Thank you for including my bag charm, Nikki. I liked the post on Instagram, but I donāt know if Iām supposed to do anything else. I havenāt quite got my head around insta or pinterest yet.
Afternoon everyone.
Late posting today as my dadās house was broken into this morning while he was shopping (just 5 mins walk away!)
He had planned to give my brother a lift to the hospital today as heās got to have a biopsy as they think he may have prostate cancer (on top of heart and kidney failure, deminishing eyesight plus a ganglion cyst on his hip which is causing a lot of pain and mobility issues) so I had to arrange a taxi for him
I called my husband at work and he left work to go to my dadās as he has the car for work so I have no transport and living in a rural area buses are few and far between. Dad is shaken but OK (heās 78). Hubby will stay there till my other brother gets home from work (he lives with dad) Fortunately they only took cash and havenāt touched anything else except smashing a window to get in. The police have been out (and quite quickly I might add as they get a slating for not coming out for break ins) and theyāve got quite a bit of forensics plus, what the burglars obviously didnāt notice, my dad has 24/7 CCTV so theyāve also been caught on camera.
So finally, hereās a new listing
Oh my goodness, Carol. Your poor Dad! X
Yes the link works Nikki, and thanks so much for including my Xmas stocking.
Ooh what a shock for your Dad.
Nikki @GlintBeads, can you add 2 to the tally for me please (supplies shop)
that is horrid Carol @Knittingtopia ā¦I hope your dad isnāt too shocked.
The guilty individual(s) probably watched him go out.
I once had someone break into my house in London and the culprits must have watched me take the dog out for a walk.
Unluckily for them, what they didnāt realise was that although I went out, my hubby was at home so all they did was break a small window by the front door and as soon as they realised that someone was home, they scarpered without even enteringā¦still a horrid experience though.
I hope the culprits can be found and actually punished and not just get told off.
Sorry to hear about your Dadās house getting broken into Carol @knittingtopia - itās good that they didnāt get away with too much - but itās all the stress and hassle that comes with it (and having to get the window repaired) Hope your Dad is OK - itās good that the police are taking it seriously. x
The heart issue is being looked into as a matter of priority - Doug is aware, so he hopes to have it sorted out as soon as possible
Yes Brenda @teabreaks I think they must have seen him go out. Canāt believe the nerve of them in broad daylight!
Canāt fault the police at all Sarah @dotterypottery Dad is OK and a least he doesnāt live alone (although my brother does obviously have to go out to work)
Sarah I think we have a bigger issue going on than the heart problem. Items are showing as available for shipping to the EU even though they arenāt. Iāve emailed the urgent email address.
I am still getting this:
400 Bad Request
Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
I canāt click on any items, canāt get into my shop or dashboard. @dougfolksy
