Well the freezer disaster has been largly averted, the guidelines on refreezing partially thawed meat have been updated, and it is now deemed safe to refreeze if it hasn’t got above fridge temperature. So I have only had to heat up all the pots of homemade chilli and stew etc, so they can be refrozen. Phew
Sadly I have just seen an obituary in the Times for Lesley Craze, she was the jeweller who I first ever worked for back in the mid 80’s, I worked in her workshop, galleries and ran her stall in Covent Garden . A great experience and a lovely nuts lady.

Hello everyone - big sorry but I’ve been away at a trade exhibition this week and am only just catching up. So I’ll join in from here if that’s okay.
One important to do job next week though is to review all the prices across all my products - some items I am selling the shops and galleries didn’t even blink when I told them the retail price (and I later realised they thought I was giving them the wholesale price i.e. they thought I could charge twice as much as I was…) and some things I am going to price a bit lower (maybe some of the cards for example). So all in all it was eye opening and has big implications for me.
I hope everyone is doing okay and I will come back later today with a listing…

Morning a relist for you all this morning
Good morning all. Had a busy day yesterday - managed to find a shop that rents out shelf space for a reasonable price so am going to give it a try in the run up to Christmas. Now I’ve got to spend the day mocking up the space available to see what I need to take in terms of stock and then I have to label it all. If it works it beats getting up at the crack of dawn to go to craft fairs!

Heading out to see my son and his family in Sheffield so I may not be musch in evidence until Sunday. I doubt the £210/hour solicitor actually gets that; presumably that sum covers his offices, equipment, support staff, insurance, keeping up to date etc; all those good things they keep exhorting us crafters to remember when setting our prices.

Morning. Here’s a replacement for one I sold last week. Sad to read about Lesley Craze, Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery. My OH used to work near her gallery and liked to pop in there from time to time so I have a few quirky and much treasured items. Glad your freezer disaster wasn’t too bad!
