WIP. ‘Deep Blue Sea’ pendant. The sea is painted so now for the fish.
All of your posts showing a snapshot of your crafting are extremely inspiring. It reminds me of being back at art school where one could wander around and look at other students’ work and their creative energy.

The weather has turned back to its usual self. So I haven’t been able to get much done today.

I am working on this distressed version of my ‘George’ Cat figure. Pink and Silver. I won’t distress this much more. A coat or two of varnish could see this one done and in my shop asap.

My previous WIP - the rabbit - is in the shed with the first of its coats of varnish drying.

Speaking of varnish, the temperature and humidity is still marginal for working wit laquer and varnish out of doors. It’s still difficult to work with spray paint and the airbrush as well.

Loving seeing everyone’s WIP - fascinating!

Here’s mine…
A new bag in progress, I have designed it using some up cycled fabric, some new. The pieces are now cut and ready to sew.

WIP - ‘Deep Blue Sea’ pendant.
The fish are all painted. A coat of varnish, then drying (yes, drying is taking longer in these weather conditions) and finally attached the findings.

This is my WIP, which I have been working on forever, or so it seems. At first it didn’t seem to grow at all, but now I seem to be making progress. I still think it will be another month or two before it is finished though. It is a blanket which I am doing in Tunisian crochet.

Besides using coper and sterling silver for jewellery, I also use pewter, usually using an etching method. Now I’ve started to cast but don’t necessarily have the “perfect” equipment yet, just utilising what I’ve found in the kitchen. This is some molten pewter in a soup ladle!
