Has anyone here received an email from ‘Stall & Craft Collective’ inviting you to join them from ‘just £15 per year with no commission on sales’. I’m a little suspicious as it’s come to the main household email and not the one I use for business so they haven’t gone through a link on here or facebook (or any other craft selling/promoting places) There is a link for subscriptions (which I am not going to click) and a list of their pages on facebook etc. It sounds a little too good to be true at £15 a year or am I just a bit too cynical?
Never heard of them. I shall to a search via google and see what I can find out about them
I’ve just been on Facebook and done a search (not via their link just in case) and it does appear to be a genuine company with a fairly busy facebook page.
ok so far I’ve found it was opend in October 2014 so not been around very long. It appears to be crafts and gifts and there’s an Ann Summers rep which certainly not handmade.
I’ve just had a look at their website if you sell on their market place bit you only get one photo, I couldn’t see on individual listings the price for delivery which isn’t good sign as by EU law that should be available on the listing.
I tried their search function looking for different types of items but most of the time it came up empty so I doubt there are that many sellers on it so I doubt it has many buyers either.
I’ll do some more researching tomorrow as my eyes are tired.
I have previously searched their list of events looking for suitable ones and found a few good ones. However I’ve never signed up as a stall holder with them or any other similar site (eg stallfinder.com) and I’ve never advertised my goods with them. Not sure how many event organisers go looking for stall holders using them or how many shoppers go looking for items but they are a real company (if fairly young).

That’s made my evening Eileen lol. x @EileensCraftStudio
Thanks Eileen, I don’t think I’ll bother joining just yet, I have enough trying to keep up with promoting my folksy shop & facebook page (and getting few sales for my efforts)
