Hi All,
I’m going somewhere very cold and previous experience tells me I need earrings with plastic posts but I can only find one of my earrings from a previous trip. The front could be shrink plastic or acrylic or polymer clay (anything that doesn’t conduct heat really) but the post needs to be plastic and the scroll needs to be rubber/ plastic. And not to big so they don’t snag on my hat.
Anyone help me out?

No you’re the first. I’m after a couple of pairs of small studs (6mm ish) with probably polymer clay bits on the front. Is that something you could make for me?

Sara, you can have the posts if you can find someone to add to them. I have attached a photo of how small they are and the fact they need something rounded on them. Perhaps they are just unsuitable?
Bother meant to say that is a 2p coin and I have the plastic backs too. Sorry for not being able to make them for you. Rachel
Thanks Rachel @Glehcar I have polymer clay and epoxy glue so I can assemble something myself, I thought I’d ask first to see if anyone had some finished ones I could buy. If you aren’t going to use the posts/ backs yourself I’d love to have them, please me know how much you want for them/ P&P costs.

what type of design/theme are you after ?

I don’t have a particular theme in mind. If you can make your pangolins/ aardvarks that small I’m interested (one of the ones I still have from a previous trip is an blue/pink armadillo) - I do like the more random animals. I don’t want anything with bits that could get tangled in my hat which is why I had been thinking discs of marbled fimo.

i can’t really make pangolins that small sorry - i think my eyeballs may fall out…!

hi-i don’t think any of my designs could be made that small without have brittle edges etc.

Shame, one day I hope to see pangolins in the wild. Polymer clay blobs it is then.
