Good morning everybody. I was thinking how far in advance do u put “themes of the day” in tag section? Before I’ve done it in advance , but now I’ve been doing it day before. Any suggesting which one right? If any. Hope everyone have a great day what ever u doing today!

If you think it’s a useful tag which might help your item be picked up, put it on as soon as possible.

I put them on as soon as the list is shown and I have time. I’m not sure if it makes any difference when you put them up, but would be interested to know if it does.

I do it pretty much as soon as the list goes up - if I remember

I normally do it as soon as I can find the time and energy and also depends on how much work it’s going to be vs potential exposure e.g. the one for today is so broad I wasn’t sure whether or not to bother as I didn’t have it on any listings already and knew there would be a massive take up (56 pages already). In the end I had some time last night so added it to one category in my shop where I knew some items had room for an extra tag - that’s another deciding factor, do I need to take off another good tag that I’ll need to put back on in the future in order to add this one?
Sometimes I’ve even added them on the day if I’ve missed one or where it’s been a tag that hasn’t inspired me and I’ve then realised how I could use it when I’ve seen what others have done - think quite a few people do this as sometimes there’s only a few pages of them showing in the early hours and many more by the end of the day.
Have to confess some of the tags have been a bit off putting e.g. ‘solder’, ‘shiny things’ - I prefer ones that customers may actually search for, else adding them its just a one day only deal. I’m also conscious that customers can see them on the listing.

It doesn’t make any difference when you do it (unless you’re like me and are more likely to forget to do it at all if leaving it until the day before).
And as @HelenCliffordArt says, if it seems like a really good tag for your item which you don’t already have, then doing it earlier just might help more people find it in search earlier, but it doesn’t make a difference to theme of the day.

I have even done it in the afternoon on the day when it is due,…( sometimes I have forgotten) and no matter what time of day or what day you do it as long as you use the correct tag it will appear.
