Hi Everyone. Hope your weekends are going OK.
I’ve recently started looking at creating some digital art and doing limited edition prints.
However I am totally confused about which is the best printer to use.
I know it must use pigment inks, print at least A3 size but be cheap enough not to break the bank!
Any suggestions will be gratefully received!
Regards
Paul
You basically get what you pay for. A friends DH is a photographer and he uses an A3 HP laser printer but started off using a local printer u Neil he felt he could justify the expense. I would ring your local printers or visit them if practical, ask the question they may even do a test print for you and give you a price. The price normally comes down the more you order. Think Robert paid about £1000 for his printer.
Hi Caroline,
Thanks very much for your reply.
I’ve looked into it a bit more and the printers are VERY expensive.
To refill the cartridges is also incredibly expensive.
I will look into the local printer option.
Best wishes
Paul
