The wood is prepared for the lapel pin. I have now finished the sketch of the Soldier’s Button. Thought you might like to see work so far:

That’s lovely Michael, can’t wait to see the finished item

I’m hoping to see sunshine tomorrow after tonight’s sunset.

Looking good so far Michael @MichaelTerryArtisanJewellery.

Found these growing amongst the grasses in the garden today. Just one plant with these beautiful white bells. We haven’t planted it and there are no others in the garden at all. Does anyone know what it is and where it may of come from? I want to do a painting of these white bells.

That looks like white bluebells.

Go to this page & search for white variations:

Fascinating. Thank you. So I have Spanish White Blue-Bells in my garden. What a story is there.

Took these at the Lincoln Steampunk Festival last year, there were some amazing gadgets and costumes. It was very colourful and great fun.

It was wonderful fun Deborah, I wasn’t dressed up. Two friends and myself went for the weekend for the photo oppotunities, and there were certainly plenty of those. All those who participated were only too pleased to agree to pose for us. Going again this year, so looking forward to it. August Bank Holiday for any of those who are interested.

This is what I woke too this morning.

What an incredible piece of art by Jack Frost. It reminded me of this fossil.

There was a hard frost in the Shire this morning followed by hail and then snow. These white Blue-Bells were suffering so I had to take them into the studio to photograph them for future reference.
