Hi, I’m new to Folksy today and wondered if anyone can tell me if I ‘feature’ an item what that means/does? Where do they get featured? Is it best to choose 3 or more and have them randomly picked? ‘Tell us why this item is featured’ - what sort of thing do people write?

Featuring is only available to plus account holders (I think!) There are 3 boxes that display at the top of your main shop page, above collections and all your items. Any items that you have chosen to feature are displayed in these boxes (rotated on a random basis) and anything you have written in “why this item is featured” is displayed under the item title.
People may use this feature to display their best sellers, most recent makes, things they think stand out, themed items such as valentines/christmas etc. You don’t have to write anything in the box about why you have featured an item if you don’t want to.
