What's the oldest thing in your shop?

Hello all! Such a shame there are so many products that have not been bought for a while - Im the same.

The first Items I ever made are Pandora style polymer clay bracelets, have sold around half but still some to go!

They’re now in my sale section!

So many lovely items. I’m sure they will get snapped up soon :grinning:

I think the oldest thing in my shop at the moment is this necklace. Its been relisted a few times now :expressionless:

These may have been listed first!!!

This is one of the oldest, and I have just ‘revamped’ it this week, added some extra detail to the jellyfish. I’m really pleased with the result and its now hanging pride of place in my daughter’s bedroom!

One of the first things I ever listed and my first ever large embroidery! I have even reduced it by almost half the price.

I’m afraid it is me!

Rather like you @LePetitBijouUK, I am the oldest thing in my shop! Next oldest might be this bridal necklace. Like @bojanglies, this was made as a commission, but for a bride, in her specific colours. Sadly she changed her mind and her colour scheme to boot! I am left with it. It did have earrings and a bracelet, both of which sold at separate fairs, but this still lodges at home.

I think this might be its last season on here before I dismantle the piece and use the gems and silver in other projects. Fingers crossed it sells before drastic action is needed.

I thought it would be fun to revive this old thread
The things that have been in my shop the longest are these cute boxes (well, I thought they were cute, and even my OH said they were “very appealing” at the time)
I’ve put the prices up, I’ve put the prices down, I’ve put them in the middle. I’ve promoted them on Craftjuice, Facebook, Pinterest and here, but they’re still here…

Isn’t it strange how some items just stick. I was really pleased with this apron when I made it. Not sure if it is the oldest thing in my shop, but this is definitely the third Christmas I have tried to sell it!!

This was the first tea cosie I listed, I had been asked to knit a lavender coloured one as a commission from the B&M shop I supplied, so put it together with my all time favourite knitted stitch and favourite bunch of knitted crocus, and hey presto, it’s still here!
I still love it and knitted matching egg cosies too!!

I know it’s not any consolation to you but all of the items on this thread since it has been revived are lovely - I don’t know why they are still here!

My longest lingering items are about a year old. This item wasn’t listed that long ago but it is the oldest thing in my shop - I made it approx 20 years ago!

I painted this a few years ago and have listed (and relisted!) it a few times. I think it’s a pretty painting!

It seems there’s no predicting what will sell. I’m just hoping I won’t be reviving this thread in 3 year’s time and showing the things I’ve just listed!

This is the oldest thing in my shop. I made three of these. A red one and a more muted blue flecked one both sold but the bright blue one has stubbornly stuck around.

Actually, re my last post, it would be a good thing if I was showing the things I’ve just listed, as it would mean I’d sold all the other older stuff (which, the way things are going, seems unlikely!)

This poor thing !!!. I stopped doing pure cotton cushion covers about a year ago , it’s been on sale ever since :frowning:
If anyone feels they can give it a home , I’m open to offers !!! :sob::blush::rofl: x

I made two of these for my shop when I first opened it. One sold in just a couple of weeks, the other is still there. It is one of my most popular items with regard to views and favourites though.
