As an antidote to next Friday’s American madness (sorry but that’s the way I feel about the idea of selling lovingly handmade stuff, which has been very carefully priced, at a discount at the busiest time of our selling year) I thought we could have a White Friday.
Let’s make a week of it and start today.
So bring out your white goods and show them here. No discounting allowed. We are British Crafters selling on a British Handmade site and we are Proud of it.
Here’s mine. A Fairy Angel to bring you all good luck in this hopefully busy season for all of us.
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A Fairy Angel or rather a Fairyfly in my computer file, It is a cross between a butterfly and a fairy, not quite a fairy nor quite a butterfly. I have made it in lovely...

I hate the whole idea of Black Friday.

Of Course! That’s why it’s been so quiet for the last few days. Depressing.

I’m not a fan of Black Friday either.
This is mostly white.

Can I post this white-ish painting? It’s very difficult to have an all white painting . I have never done Black Friday and I won’t start now. I actually love the idea of White Friday so I will try to post on Folksy something white every day.
A mixed media painting inspired by nature, titled "Morning Meadow". Materials used: handmade doily, map paper, music paper, funky button, collage flowers, charcoal, acrylic, gesso. Framed and ready to hang. Size: 12" X 14". Perfect...
