Word press website

I am in the process of setting up my shop on folksy and would like to link a wordpress website to it, can anyone tell me if its possible to set up for free and also if anyone has a word press website can they send me a link.Any help would be appreciated

Wordpress has a free option but it may depend on what you want on your website if this would suit you. There is a comparison of the options here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/self-hosted-wordpress-org-vs-free-wordpress-com-infograph/

Thanks! you are a great help

I use Wordpress the self hosting one, I’m in the middle of redeveloping mine at present.

I use Krystal Hosting https://www.krystal.co.uk and they are brilliant, I’ve been with them a long time since the beginning, went with them because they are UK
Their Cloud Hosting starts at ÂŁ3.99 month.

If you go for the self hosted Wordpress option, you can add a woocommerce plugin and use an external link for each product that will go to each of your Folksy shop products.

Also Wordpress is great for blogging.

Here’s one of mine… https://www.snowdon.photography/

I recommend using it as a blog only then direct people to Folksy to buy your makes. A lot of the selling plugins are not very secure. If you do a single listing a time, you can add a paypal button on your product posts.

Hi Ghene
Thank you for your reply your website looks great but can I ask is this really a wordpress website, it looks so
professional, which company did you use to produce this
kind regards
Jackie

Hi Jackie,
Thank you. It is indeed a Wordpress site. It’s from one of the designers I use when I was still in the web design business which I just installed to my site. I change “looks” regularly so it is the most effective solution for me.

Do you know how to use WP? It’s easier and cheaper if you do. One company who offers a huge range of ready to install templates is www.templatemonster.com

If you need any help, just DM me

Cheers,
Ghene
