I love buttons have boxes of them from Grandmothers, Mother and Mum in Law. Every time pass a charity or antique shop have to double check as they always need a good home!

Same here! 
I’m always on the lookout for pretty glass or metal shank buttons for my sewing cases - I sew them on to anchor a scissor keep to. I’d love some ceramic ones too but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ceramic shank button - bet they’d be very tricky to do.

Buttons are soooo cute! I used to hand knit some and list them in my shop…hhmmm…maybe I should create some again…
