Aw yes Natalie please do, in fact bring all of our Folksy friends, there’s always a glass of wine or gin to hand. I live in an imaginery world most of the time, I talk to the bears while I make them, I listen to very loud music which takes me everywhere i choose to go and I love the paranormal and Goth world…it’s quite a nice place to bury my head when the real world is such an awful place at times. I have some very political friends who are also very extreme conspiracy theorists but I tell them we have different views so we won’t go there…they like the man with the orange peel skin so we drink lots of wine instead and the world is fine again

I,ve got to the stage where I don’t listen to or watch the news anymore…I find it all so agitating. My partner, Matt tells me anything important that is of significance but apart from that I’m quite happy to just get on with my day, and creativity, without the bad stuff going around in my head. I just don’t need it…you know what I mean?

I’m very much post menopausal and I go along with a few of you on here, I don’t listen or watch the news - I can depress myself easily enough without added outside influences from the world in general. I might hear a snippet as on the hour when I’m listening to the radio but that’s always a good time to go to the loo or make a cuppa. I get a Sunday paper to vaguely keep me in some sort of touch but the attached magazines are more interesting. If there really is something I really, really need to know, my husband will tell me, he knows from long experience that I don’t talk politics! It may be sticking my head under the bed clothes but it’s comfier down there!

The PM of Ukraine might be doing the best for his country and his people, but now he is asking for 200,000 soldiers to fight for his country. And he has preferrence…European soldiers!
As for the US President…I’m horrified when I think that he is in charge of US’s nuclear weapons!

Can you blame him for asking for help? Imagine if Putin and the Orange idiot get what they want? Where next for Putin, or China or indeed the USA?

I don’t see any real pressure for peace and negotiations from the global community. All I hear constantly is…we need money, weapons, soldiers. And the war is between two countries, both not in EU and NATO.
