Thanks for the painting appreciation.
Yes, 2019 was my first full year on Folksy and it has gone better than I expected. Certainly better than the other place beginning with E.
I sold a few original paintings last year. I did a few commissions that went through my Folksy shop. I’ve treated it like my own website, so got a few buyers from business card handouts at craft fairs. Done loads of social media promotion too and come on the forums nearly every day.
The promoting is harder than the creating, but Folksy people are such a lovely bunch, it’s hard to stay away!
Good luck with your reopened shop. Your art work is wonderful, I’m sure you will do well.

Inspired by my bus driving days and a cat who used to enjoy riding the bus in Plymouth. He became a local celebrity and it was front page news when he sadly died. Not dissimilar to the seagull hitching a bus ride I did recently. There might be a theme developing here!
