As for posting to the US…because I cannot get to the post office and no longer have a car, I now stick to paintings of 8x6 or under, so that they fit in the local post box. So far I have had no problems with them arriving…and have sent all over the world…
I have a friend though who recently sent a larger painting to Dubai and it has just come back saying that the address wasn;t correct. She checked it and it was fine. The customer has asked her to send it again with Fed ex…but of course my friend will incur another shipping fee. Personally I would refund and put it back up for sale and just suck up the loss of ONE p&P fee…
