thanks @ArtilyEverCrafter I have always loved abstracts but never knew where to start…I have several books that were no help at all…lol…
So I just “went for it” !

Hi Brenda, I don’t think books help for abstracts since it is more of an emotional response, I don’t really think it can be taught.
Your pieces have an immediacy to them, I can see that you’re really getting into it.
Will maybe have a go myself

Thanks Maria…I found that when I tried to take information from books they turned out rubbish…I don’t know if other people find the same thing but I obviously have my own style and no matter what I try to do it always reverts back to a ME style painting.
Just finished this one…purple of course…ha ha

Out of interest, is anyone getting a dodgy email expressing a poorly worded interest in buying an item you have for sale?

a lot of people on here get the Graham…a scam, as you suspected…might we worth telling admin…or is it not connected to folksy?
Even if an email is genuine I still send people to my shop to buy…it is my safeguard.

Yes I’ve got one of those today too. I’ve had a couple in the past before (from different usernames and worded slightly different, but saying pretty much the same thing) and just ignored them. Always on the more expensive of my items too.

I haven’t had one of those messages before, but they do seem a bit dodgy!
Had a couple of messages on Instagram, asking if I want to feature on their page but I tend to ignore them since they don’t seem relevant, although still figuring out Instagram so I might be wrong!
